Is the Individual Deposit Limit the same as the Daily Limit I choose when registering my Player Account?
These are linked, but there are differences.
The ’24 hour’ facility for deposit limits applied by Lottoland means that all daily deposit limits re-set at midnight every day irrespective of the time of day when the daily deposit limit was set.
E.g. you set a daily deposit limit of R500 at 16:15 on Tuesday. The maximum amount you can deposit into your Player Account up until 23:59 on that Tuesday is R500. As at 00:00 the daily deposit limit is re-set and you can deposit up to R500 as from then up until 23:59 on Wednesday. It then re-sets at 00:00 R500 for Thursday, etc.
The Individual Deposit Limit
Lottoland offer their players the option to deposit limits on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as daily.
The maximum daily limit will still operate as the highest limit possible, but you can add additional restrictions if you wish.
Why do you offer these limits to your Players?
As part of the Responsible Betting Policy of our site, we wish to offer our Players the opportunity to control their own spending.
The Daily Deposit Limit and the Deposit Limit are two of the ways we can do this.
Can I set or change my Deposit Limit?
Yes. You may set or change your Deposit limit once you have logged in to your account.
Please follow the below steps:
1. Click on your name at the top right of your screen, to reveal a drop-down menu.
2. From the menu, choose the 'My Account' option.
3. Scroll down below the bet shown, to the 'Deposit Limit' section.
4. Click on the green 'Edit' button and modify the limit as you wish.
Please note, for your protection, we are restricted from making any increase to your limit until the time on any previous limit has expired. Decreases to your limit are immediate.
